Roger Ericson - Saxes
Roger is a graduate of Wilkes College (now Wilkes University) and was a high school band director for 30 years before becoming a member of SJP. He was a classical and jazz woodwind player who was the assistant principal clarinetist with the Wilkes Barre Philharmonic for 4 years as well as the first chair clarinetist in his college band. He has performed with several groups over the years, the most recent being the Dan Bradley Big Band, The Swing Shift Orchestra, his own trio called Trifecta, the Midnight Blues Company and the Benson/Ericson duo. Proficient on the entire family of saxes as well as clarinet and flute, Roger plays alto and tenor with the SJP.
