Jim Wegrzyn - (Bass - Vocals)

Jim has extensive experience playing musicals and shows, from Stissing Mountain High School in Pine Plains, NY ("Oliver," "Bye Bye, Birdie," "Anything Goes") to Tri-Arts ("The Music Man," "Annie Get Your Gun") and Sharon Playhouse ("Little Shop of Horrors," "Into The Woods").

Jim's also worked with Marist College (in the Company), the Shadowland Theater ("Meshugga Nuns!"), Woodstock NY’s  Byrdcliffe Theater/Bird-On-A-Cliff productions ("Smokey Joe’s Café"), Monticello High School
("Grease," "The Music Man"), and Fallsburg High School, where he both played bass ("Footloose," "Little Shop of
Horrors," "Cinderella," "Seussical") and directed the orchestra ("Bye Bye, Birdie"). 

Jim plays and sings (Sinatra and rock styles) in The Dan Bradley Big Band, and The Klassics; he's the newest addition to SJP.  Jim's former musical associations include the ‘60s psychedelic rock cover band The Sugar Beats, the Swing Shift Orchestra, the Switch-In-Time Big Band, Saturday Nite (a wedding/party band), Timeless Country, The Castaways (Pittsfield, MA), and My Generation (Loveland, CO). 

As an arranger, Jim has written for the Monticello, NY High School String Orchestra, and has had arrangements debut at The Weekend of Chamber Music, Sullivan County, NY.  Jim is also a NYS certified music teacher, and is currently completing his sixth year as a substitute teacher with the Rondout Valley CSD in Accord, NY.  Being an avid baseball fan (go Red Sox!), he is a certified Little League & NYSBUA Umpire, a Cooperstown Dreams Park and All-Star Village Umpire, and is currently undergoing certification to become a PAVO/GEVA/USA Volleyball referee.  In his spare time (WHAT spare time?), Jim also brews his own beer.
