Greg Marl - Guitar, Vocals, Trombone, Keys
Born in 1964, Greg started playing trombone in the 4th grade. By the fifth grade, he was also playing piano and bass trombone. For his 13th birthday, he bought himself a guitar and started playing with original groups. He studied with many rock, jazz and blues greats from The Hudson Valley. In 1981, he was the bass trombonist and guitarist for a group that was voted the best of it’s kind in The U.S. by The National Association of Jazz Educators. (NAJE) The following year he joined the group at The Montreux Jazz Festival on Lake Geneva, Switzerland, opening for Dizzie Gillespie. He was the guitarist and key player with The Brats from 1997 through 2004 and joined SJP in the Spring of 2007.
